1. The Service
Centennial Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public rolls, record indexes, historical directories, archives, and official request routes associated with Centennial, Arapahoe County, and Colorado. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with the City of Centennial, Arapahoe County, Colorado Judicial, CDPHE, a library, or another custodian.
The pages explain a source’s purpose and limits. An owner, voter, court party, licensee, business agent, or historical directory entry is a record relationship, not a guaranteed current residence.
2. Permitted Use
Use these pages and the information reached through them only for lawful purposes. You may not use the service or a linked result to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm another person
- Locate someone who is protected by a restraining order, confidentiality program, or similar safety measure
- Commit identity theft, fraud, impersonation, or another unlawful act
- Make a decision governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions
- Scrape, copy, sell, or republish the pages at scale without permission
- Attack, disrupt, bypass, or interfere with the service or its security
3. No Consumer Report
Centennial Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Nothing on these pages and nothing returned by a linked search service is a consumer report.
Information from the pages may not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose covered by the FCRA. A visitor must obtain any legally required report from a qualified provider and follow the applicable law.
4. Outside Links
Government portals, archives, libraries, sponsored search tools, and other linked services operate under their own terms, privacy notices, prices, and availability. The operator does not control their content or the result of a request made there.
A link is provided for research routing. It is not an endorsement, guarantee, or representation that an outside office will keep the same fields or fees.
5. No Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
No promise is made that a page, fact, URL, portal, search result, fee, coverage year, or external service is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. Verify important information with the custodian.
6. Liability Limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or other damages arising from use of the service or a linked resource.
This includes a decision, cost, loss, delay, claim, or dispute based on a public record, directory entry, search result, portal outage, request response, or outside service.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operators of Centennial Residents Directory from claims, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable attorney fees arising from your misuse of the service, unlawful use of a record, or violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original writing, organization, logo, design, and layout belong to the site operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Linking to a page and quoting a short excerpt with attribution is permitted. Reproducing a whole page or systematically copying the content is not.
9. Changes to Terms
The operator may revise these terms by publishing a replacement version. The version posted on the site controls after publication. Continued use after a change means that you accept the revised terms.
10. Access Restrictions
The operator may block, limit, or terminate access for a visitor who violates these terms, abuses the service, attacks its security, or uses the pages for unlawful harm. This may happen without advance notice where needed to protect the service or another person.
11. Colorado Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without applying conflict-of-law principles. Colorado Open Records Act provisions appear at CRS §§24-72-200.1 to 24-72-206, while criminal-justice records use the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act at CRS §§24-72-301 to 24-72-309. Those statutes govern a custodian’s records; they do not turn this private reference into a records office.
Where relevant, the Colorado Privacy Act and the rules of the particular custodian also apply to a data or access question.
12. Severability
If a court finds one provision unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent required. The remaining terms will continue in effect.
13. Questions
Questions about these terms may be sent through the Contact page. Questions about a government record, certification, correction, sealing, or access decision must go to the custodian named on the relevant source page.
