Information You Submit
When a visitor enters a name, phone number, or street address in a search form, the information is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the result. Centennial Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those search entries on its own pages or maintain an account profile for the visitor.
If you contact the operator, the mailbox receives the details in the message. Those details are used to answer the inquiry, investigate a link or page issue, and communicate about the request.
Automatic Technical Logs
Hosting systems normally record technical data such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. The operator may review aggregate traffic and page-use patterns to keep the reference available and improve its structure. The purpose is site operation, not a personal directory.
Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics or, where applicable, advertising measurement. Their providers have their own notices and settings. A visitor can use browser controls to limit some technologies, although a change may affect a page’s operation.
How Information Is Used
Information handled by the operator is used to run the site, diagnose errors, understand aggregate traffic, improve the record guides, and answer messages. Centennial Residents Directory does not sell visitor lists or build a personal profile from the public-record topics a visitor reads.
The operator does not control how an outside government office records a request or how a sponsored search provider handles a submitted query. Those interactions happen under the outside service’s own terms.
Links to Outside Sources
Pages link to the City of Centennial, Arapahoe County, Colorado Judicial, CDPHE, DORA, State Archives, Denver Public Library, Arapahoe Libraries, USPS, Census, and other sources. A visit or request made on one of those services is governed by the custodian’s privacy notice, terms, and access rules.
Sponsored search tools are also operated by third parties. Centennial Residents Directory does not control their content, pricing, data practices, or result retention.
Who Can Receive Data
Hosting and technical service providers may process the ordinary logs described above. Analytics or advertising partners may receive limited technical information for their stated functions. A valid legal process may require disclosure. No other routine disclosure of a visitor list is intended.
Public records are different. A request sent to the City of Centennial, Arapahoe County, or a Colorado agency is handled by that office under its governing law. This reference cannot control a custodian’s records, retention, redaction, or disclosure decision.
Keeping Information Safe
The pages are served over an encrypted connection, and technical logs are kept only for the purposes described here and for the period the service needs them. There are no visitor accounts, passwords, or personal profiles maintained by this reference.
No online system is risk-free. Visitors should use care before entering personal information into any outside search or records portal and should open an ordering page from the official custodian.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. The operator does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor sent information to the contact mailbox, the parent or guardian may ask that it be reviewed and deleted.
Colorado Privacy Rights
Where the Colorado Privacy Act applies, a qualifying consumer may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port certain personal data and to opt out of specified processing. The Colorado Attorney General’s Colorado Privacy Act resource explains the law and its exceptions. Because this site keeps little information, a request normally concerns the contact mailbox or technical logs.
Colorado Open Records Act requests are different. The Colorado Attorney General CORA summary describes access to non-exempt public records under CRS §§24-72-200.1 to 24-72-206. A request to delete a page in this reference cannot remove a parcel, voter, court, vital, deed, or directory record held by Centennial, Arapahoe County, or a state office. Send that request to the custodian.
Use the Contact page to ask about information held by this reference. Include the email or message details that will help locate the request.
Policy Changes
Any revision to this policy will be posted on this page. The date and wording of the posted version control future use. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
